Farm Equipment Council (FEC)
Product Focus
The focus of this council is on all types of farm-field equipment and machinery: tractors, combines, forage, tillage, etc.
Mission
The work related to statistics, engineering, safety, state and federal public policy issues is done through committees active in the various related function councils. The participants in the Farm Equipment Council provide a general "advise and consent" role to ensure attention is focused on the proper priorities and to give support for projects and the various committees' work at the AEM Board level discussions.
History
This council was originally established as the Tractor and Thresher Department in 1919. It held various names until 1990 when the current name was adopted.
