AEM Economic Indicators Report for September 2008 Now Online

| The pace of economic growth continues to slow, but consumer confidence improved moderately. The twelve Federal Reserve Districts reported slower growth in economic activity in the latest edition of the Federal Reserve Beige Book, published in September. Most Districts described business conditions as "weak," "soft," or "subdued." Although the economy is still growing, the pace of growth has slowed over the past 12 months. |
