We are offering this opportunity to a service-oriented professional who enjoys variety and challenge to join our team of Marketing professionals. The Marketing Intern will focus on aspects critical to the growth of attendees to our tradeshows.
This fully in-person internship offers a flexible 15-hour work week during business hours, coordinated with the hiring manager on the first day. The position runs through December 31, 2025, with the potential for renewal into 2026

Responsibilities include:
- Assisting the Marketing team with data mining lists of attendee prospects for upcoming tradeshows or digital events.
- Assist the Marketing team with all aspects of executing the marketing plan tactics to drive attendance at our tradeshows, including writing emails, web page copy, calling attendees, and several other promotional tactics.
- Work in our CRM portal to manage attendee lists/prospect lists and digital leads.
- Assist the Digital Marketing team with ad-hoc tasks as it relates to tactical programs for trade show events.
- Work closely with our supporting publication, association, and delegation programs.
- Work closely with prospective partners, establishing relationships, managing questions, and more.
- Analytical reporting and customer database management
- Expand marketing vocabulary and gain practical sales experience
- Hands-on experience in promotional tactics for event marketing
- Knowledge of brand strategy and development
- Knowledge of AEM industries (construction, agriculture, mining, forestry, and utility equipment)
- Improved customer service skills
- Required skills to succeed in a business environment
- Microsoft Office programs and other systems
- Intermediate to advanced Excel use
- Operating in an internal database
