Jim McEvoy

After graduating with a B.S. in Business & Finance from Kings College in Wilkes Barre, PA in 1989, Jim McEvoy began his career path as a management trainee in the Construction and Mining Group at Ingersoll Rand Co. 
In his eleven years with Ingersoll Rand, Jim held various positions, developing an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of marketing, product management, sales, and distribution development in the road construction industry. 
Jim joined Wirtgen America as Vice President Sales and Marketing in 2000. At the time, Wirtgen America was a one-brand company, generating about 50 million in revenue. In his position, Jim managed the integration of several additional product brands under the Wirtgen America umbrella, and their successful introduction and persistent growth.
In 2007, Jim was named President and Chief Executive Officer of Wirtgen America, Inc., responsible for directing all activities and operations of the Wirtgen Group in the U.S. and Canada. To guarantee the company’s continued growth, Jim has mapped a clear strategy to strengthen Wirtgen America’s distribution channels and consistently increase market shares while emphasizing the importance of close, service-oriented relationships with customers. Under his direction, the company has grown to become a leading supplier of road construction and mineral technologies equipment in North America. Today, Wirtgen America, Inc. offers world-renowned service at more than 250 locations through its distribution network of 32 dealers. 
Wirtgen America, Inc. is a subsidiary of the Wirtgen Group, a John Deere Company. Wirtgen Group offers mobile machine solutions for road construction and road rehabilitation, as well as plants for mining and processing minerals with its five traditional brands: Wirtgen, Vögele, Hamm, Kleemann and Benninghoven.
