AEM AdvocacyAEM announced the 2022 recipients of the annual AEM Advocacy Award, which recognizes member companies for their outstanding contributions to the association’s advocacy efforts.

This year, 36 member companies took home the Gold Award for their active participation in AEM's grassroots, state, and federal advocacy efforts, including LeeBoy, who was recognized as the 2022 Pillar of the Industry. Additionally, 45 member companies earned Silver and Bronze Awards, including 21 member companies that are new to the program.

“2022 was a very successful year for the equipment manufacturing industry, and many of our accomplishments would not have been possible without our member companies stepping up and working with us to move the needle on key issues,” said AEM President Megan Tanel. “We want to publicly share our deep appreciation to each of these companies for their commitment to educating lawmakers about our industry and advocating for pro-manufacturing policies that will keep our industry strong.”

The AEM Advocacy Award recognizes AEM member companies that help advance the industry’s policy priorities through a range of advocacy efforts, including active participation in AEM’s state and federal advocacy efforts, public affairs initiatives, and AEM’s award-winning national grassroots advocacy campaign, I Make America

“We are proud to recognize so many member companies for their outstanding contributions to the association’s advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C. and state capitals around the country,” said Kip Eideberg, AEM senior vice president of government and industry relations. “Our member companies understand what it takes to get the job done, and thanks to their efforts we have notched important legislative victories on behalf of our industry and the 2.8 million men and women who make the equipment that build, power, and feed the world.”

AEM announced this year’s recipients of the AEM Advocacy Awards during the 2022 Annual Conference, held November 16-18 at the Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa, Calif. Learn more about AEM at www.aem.org.
