NFL Players Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith has been named as the keynote speaker for the upcoming 2023 AEM Annual Conference.
Smith is set to speak on the ripple effect of servant leadership, how leaders can rise to the occasion, and managing C-suite challenges at this year’s event, which is set for Nov. 28-30, 2023, at the Fort Lauderdale Marriot Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Registration for this year’s event will open in June.
“We’re thrilled to welcome DeMaurice Smith to the AEM Annual Conference this year, as he brings a uniquely valuable perspective on leadership, taking on challenges and opportunities and driving organizational success,” said AEM Education Programs Director Helen Horner.
Smith was the unanimous choice when he was elected as the Executive Director of the NFLPA. In his role, he has negotiated two comprehensive collective bargaining agreements and is currently the longest serving executive director of a major sport union.
The 2023 AEM Annual Conference is more than an education and networking opportunity. It’s the only thought leadership event for professionals working in the ag, construction, forestry, mining and utility equipment industries. More importantly, it provides attendees with:
- Tools and strategies to succeed in business
- Timely and relevant insights to help shed light on the future of the industry
- Ample networking opportunities with peers
- Expert perspectives on the outlook for equipment manufacturing and the customers it serves
