AEM, its members, and construction industry partners will once again take over the National Mall in the heart of Washington, DC, this coming May.

The second Celebration of Construction on the National Mall promises to showcase the industry’s cutting-edge innovations, workforce development efforts, and sustainability initiatives. Set for May 14-16, 2025, the event will:

  • Feature the latest in emissions technology, alternative power sources, building materials, construction methods creating greater efficiencies, worker safety enhancements, and workforce development programs. Facilitate an array of substantive policy discussions with agency officials who directly impact regulations critical to the off-road equipment industry.
  • Allow for discussions with policymakers who craft programs and legislation that affect construction equipment manufacturers and their customers.
  • Highlight construction equipment, components, and hands-on exhibits from industry partners between the Capital Building and Washington Monument.

“For the second time, the construction industry will be front and center in our nation’s capital to display the immense impact the sector and equipment manufacturers have on helping build our country and the entire world,” said AEM Vice President of Construction and Utility John Somers. “The timing couldn’t be better for AEM, as our industry will make its presence felt in Washington as the 119th Congress and new Administration takes shape. And it is incredibly important that we all work together and educate individuals on the equipment, materials, tools, and people needed to build the infrastructure this country needs to thrive.”

With policymakers in Washington set to debate several issues critical to off-road equipment manufacturers in the coming year, the Celebration of Construction on the National Mall is an unparalleled opportunity to educate those who impact the industry while establishing AEM as a trusted leader capable of facilitating future discussions.

Those interested in adding their voice to this one-of-a-kind industry event are encouraged to contact AEM’s Nick Tindall directly at ntindall@aem.org. However, space is limited, so be sure to reach out in a timely manner
