Equipped to VoteOver the last three months, I Make America’s digital get-out-the-vote initiative, Equipped to Vote, has engaged with voters across the country who want to help strengthen and grow equipment manufacturing in the U.S. Now, Election Day is here, and voters have the last chance to decide who wins this year’s elections tomorrow, and we want to make sure you’ve got the tools and resources you need to get to your polling place and make informed decisions.

Start by visiting www.equippedtovote.org. Here, you can confirm your voter registration status (remember, some states allow you to register on the day of) and check out policy videos and test your knowledge about trade, infrastructure, and rural America. Listen to what candidates are saying, you want them to be talking about these issues!

I Make America and Equipped to Vote have created a tool where you can find your polling place and see which federal candidates are on your ballotThis year, there is a presidential election, which happens every four years. The U.S. House of Representatives is up for re-election every two years, and certain U.S. Senators are up for re-election, as well. And across the U.S., there are countless governor, state legislature, and local elections taking place as well.

The outcome of the 2020 elections will have a significant impact on the 2.8 million equipment manufacturing men and women across the country, the broader manufacturing sector, and the U.S. economy for years to come. Together, we can make our voices heard, stand with the equipment manufacturing industry, and get Equipped to Vote!
