Michael A. Haberman

Executive Vice President - Industrial Equipment Division / Alamo Group Inc.

Mike is a 1980 graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Rensellaer, Indiana with a B.S. in Accounting and Computer Science. 

Mike has over 30 years of experience in the mining and construction equipment field. He began his career as a Marketing Engineer for Walking Draglines with Marion Dresser in 1980 and has held various positions in Sales, Marketing, and Distributor Development in the industry. In 2006, Mike was named President of Gradall Industries, Inc., a division of Alamo Group Inc. Since 2021, Mike has served as Executive Vice President, Industrial Equipment Division for Alamo, responsible for the Vacuum and Excavation, Sweeper, and Snow Groups.

Mike has been actively involved in CONEXPO-CON/AGG Management since 2002, first serving on the Rules & Space Committee and then moving to Chair of Rules & Space for the 2005 show. Additionally, he served as Vice Chair of the show for 2008 and Show Chair in 2011. 

Mike has served on the AEM Board of Directors since November 2006. He was AEM Treasurer from 2013-2014. From 2015-2016 Mike was CE Chair, and in 2016 he additionally served as AEM Vice Chair. In November 2016, Mike was named AEM Chair for 2017.
