William Mulligan

In his rise from student trainee in 1952 to his position of executive vice president of Ingersoll - Rand Company, William Mulligan's ideas and leadership led to advancements in portable air compressor technology and the extendible boom air crawler drill.
Mulligan has also been a driving force behind industry efforts to increase investment in the nation's highway and bridge system, working not only through Ingersoll - Rand, but through organizations such as the International Road Federation, CIMA (now AEM), ARTBA, and TRIP.
