AEM is proud to announce that the AEM Manufacturing Express and the Faces of Manufacturing initiative have been recognized with multiple awards at the 20th Davey Awards, the most prestigious awards competition celebrating outstanding creative work from smaller agencies and their clients.

 Manufacturing Express Awards:

  • Silver – Public Relations
  • Silver – Experiential and Events

 Faces of Manufacturing Video Awards:

  • Gold – General
  • Silver – Cinematography
  • Silver – Video Series

These accolades highlight the exceptional work and collaboration that went into these initiatives, highlighting the importance of the U.S. equipment manufacturing industry and its workforce.

“It is exciting to see the AEM Manufacturing Express and the “Face of Manufacturing” and the phenomenal creativity and effort behind these two initiatives recognized by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts this year,” said Kip Eideberg, AEM senior vice president of government and industry relations. “These five awards are a testament to the close collaboration and great work done by the AEM Advocacy Team and our partners at CRAFT Media | Digital.”

The AEM Manufacturing Express traveled over 13,000 miles across 22 states, stopping at 80 equipment manufacturing facilities to tell the stories of the 2.3 million men and women of the industry and highlight how their grit, determination, and can-do spirit are pivotal to the American way of life.

Along the way, participants engaged in educational experiences, including the Manufacturing Challenge, an industry-themed interactive game designed to showcase the cutting-edge technology and innovations that power modern equipment and test players’ knowledge about the innovative technologies, processes, people, and products revolutionizing equipment manufacturing across America. Participants were entered for a chance to win a brand-new Ford F-150. The winner is expected to be announced later this spring.

For more than a decade, I Make America has empowered its supporters to advocate for the policies that will keep the U.S. equipment manufacturing industry strong and communities prosperous. The Faces of Manufacturing video series marks the first time that the campaign has mobilized the backbone of the industry—assemblers, electricians, machinists, painters, and welders—to help rally everyone around a common cause. The video was shot on location at Astec (Chattanooga, Tenn.), Case IH (Racine, Wis.), Husco (Waukesha, Wis.), Komatsu America Corporation (Chattanooga, Tenn.), Kondex Corporation (Lomira, Wis.), and Miller Formless (McHenry, Ill).

These recognitions from the Davey Awards underscores the tremendous impact of the AEM Manufacturing Express and Faces of Manufacturing in showing off the ingenuity and resilience of American equipment manufacturing. AEM looks forward to continuing its mission of advocating for policies that support and strengthen the industry.
