How to Recruit Women into Manufacturing (and Why)

Women in Mfg. Women are one of the manufacturing industry’s most untapped labor pools. Recent data from Deloitte points to the fact that women comprise 47% of the overall labor force, but only 29% of manufacturing's labor force.

With many manufacturers in dire need of skilled labor to fill open positions in their organization, it’s clear those numbers need to change.

In one of her recent 2-Minute Workforce Tactic Videos, AEM Senior Director of Workforce and Industry Initiatives Julie Davis breaks down how organizations can adopt new strategies and tactics to be more effective when trying to recruit women into the manufacturing industry.
