I Make AmericaCalling AEM members! Do you employ veterans at your facility? If so, we want to hear from you! AEM, in tandem with its grassroots initiative, I Make America, is seeking submissions of veteran member company employees to feature on social media during Military Appreciation Month this May. Social posts will include a photo of each service member, their branch, and the member company that they are employed by.

Employee information can be submitted through this link.

The campaign will take the time to celebrate the men and women working at AEM’s member companies who have bravely fought for our country and the freedoms we cherish today.

It is critical that we support those who have served our nation, and the equipment manufacturing industry is committed to doing just that. Our industry has a long-standing history of supporting veterans, helping them transition to civilian life by offering multiple post-service employment programs.

Veterans are a fantastic talent pool to connect with, as a steady flow of service members leave their branches annually. It is key that employers hone in on the ways that their organizations can support America’s veteran community and help them to transition back into civilian life.

If you employ veteran and are interested in participating in our campaign in the month of May, consider submitting now!

If your company is interested in participating in an AEM Advisor article about hiring and supporting the veteran talent pool, reach out to AEM's Danny Gavin at dgavin@aem.org to discuss next steps.
