Kip EidebergAEM Senior Vice President of Government and Industry Relations Kip Eideberg was named to The Hill’s list of top lobbyists for the sixth straight year.

The annual list, which was released earlier this month, honors those lobbyists who stand out because of their knowledge, effectiveness, and reputation in the nation’s capital. “The lobbyists on this list are some of the best in the business and have been go-to-advocates during a year defined by unprecedented political events, legislative logjams, federal spending cut crusades and big rulemaking swings by the outgoing Biden administration,” The Hill said in the announcement.

“During a year when policy decidedly trumped politics, we expanded our reputation as a trusted, respected voice for our industry, as well as an influential force in shaping critical outcomes for the competitiveness of equipment manufacturing industry in the United States,” said Eideberg. “This is a tremendous honor, but one that belongs to the entire AEM Advocacy Team who stepped up once again to deliver impressive results for our industry and member companies. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by such an amazing group of professionals.”

“We are thrilled that Kip has been named by The Hill as a Top Lobbyist for the sixth year in a row and incredibly proud to have him lead the association’s advocacy efforts,” said AEM President Megan Tanel. “Kip has a reputation in Washington of working closely and constructively with Democrats and Republicans to move our industry forward, and he has earned that reputation because of his passion for our industry, post-partisan approach to advocacy, and commitment to policy solutions that create a win-win. We are very fortunate to have him on our team.”

Eideberg joined AEM as its vice president of public affairs and advocacy in 2016 and was promoted to senior vice president of government and industry relations and head of the association's Washington D.C. office in 2019.

This year the AEM Advocacy Team, under Eideberg’s leadership, successfully shaped legislative and executive decisions at the highest levels of government and notched a series of policy wins that will help make it easier for equipment manufacturers to create jobs, invest in their communities, develop new and improved products, and grow the economy. Against the backdrop of the election, the AEM Advocacy Team joined colleagues from across the association and hit the road with the AEM Manufacturing Express. Traveling 13,700 miles across 22 states, they hosted 100 lawmakers at 80 equipment manufacturers and mobilized more than 15,000 grassroots supporters to send 75,000 letters to lawmakers in support of pro-manufacturing policies.
