Paul FlemmingAEM’s Paul Flemming was recognized by the Wisconsin Society of Association Executives (WSAE) last week as the winner of its 2024 Association Leadership Award.

Flemming, who serves as AEM’s Vice President of Membership and Sales, earned the award due his longstanding track record of demonstrated leadership within AEM, along with his commitment to living out the values of WSAE -- inclusion, integrity, shaping the future, and a positive attitude and passion for association management. The awards were presented at WSAE’s Annual Summit, held Nov. 19-20 in Madison, Wisconsin.

“I am honored and humbled to be recognized by WSAE with its 2024 Association Leadership Award,” said Flemming. “This work reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire staff at AEM to build momentum for our members and provide them with enhanced service and support. Thank you to WSAE for this award, and I appreciate all its staff and volunteer leaders for all they do to promote the association industry in Wisconsin.”

In his role as AEM’s Vice President of Membership and Sales, Flemming guides the development and implementation of plans to help association members engage with AEM’s full spectrum of services and offerings, including education, trade shows, and sponsorship opportunities.

“Paul is a tremendous team leader who has excellent knowledge of AEM, our members, and our portfolio of services and events,” said AEM Senior Vice President Sara Truesdale Mooney. “His efforts to enhance member engagement, as well as sales revenue on behalf of the association, has helped AEM provide best-in-class customer service and engagement programs for members and exhibitors alike. He is very much deserving of this recognition.”
